Description
This photo was captured during a Spring baby animal workshop in Yellowstone.
Every year, hundreds of baby bison calves, also called “red dogs” are born in Lamar Valley, one of the hotspots for wildlife in the park. This one calf would run circles around the cow until she stopped, at which time the calf would milk. As the cow would start to walk again, the calf would again run circles around it to stop.
Spring is a wonderful time in Yellowstone and this photo takes me back there every time I see it!
